This is an interesting tool developed by CSIRO to assist with rapid identification and assessment of aquatic ecosystems.
Through a micro-array chip (Estuarine Sediment Ecology Array – ESEA), scientists are able to accurately and reliably obtain information on aquatic organisms in a fraction of the time.
A great tool that hopefully will be available to use in the Pacific region.
